(Al-Anon members who are also AA members
may not serve as GR)
- insures that the group has a current copy of the
Al-Anon/Alateen Service Manual
- works through the district in helping to
initiate perfessional and public outreach
and institutions work
- encourages Alateen sponsorship
- serves as local representatives of
Al-Anon's magazine, The Forum by:
- acquainting members with its usefulness
- sugesting they subscribe
- sending in group subscriptions
- distributing old copies to potential subscribers
- encouraging members to write articles
for publication
At the meeting Group Representatives present a brief presentation on a regular basis to keep the group informed about district and area concerns and business. Group Representatives should attend there local district meetings and area assemblies to carry the message of there group to the district or area.
