Reverend Freddie & Distillers formed in the fall of 1999.  Formed on the spur of the moment to fill in a time slot at the Wick hotel in London, Ontario. Originally as a three piece group with Jeffy B on guitar and vocals, Oscar De La Howarya on bass and vocals and of course The Reverend Freddie singing his guts out.  This original formation had no band name and OBVIOUSLY no drummer.  S.F.C. knew there was a lack of percussion and thus stepped right in and cemented the quartet to what you see and hear today.  This was the baptism of the band as "Reverend Freddie and the Distillers"!  Their music is mainly Honkytonk and Rockabilly covers, with all sorts of southern rock, classic rock, folk and even some punk and metal covers thrown in just because they can, dammit! They also have a debut cd of original songs out called "Bigger Than Your Daddy's" on "Little Hands Records".  Check these boys out live.  A great, intimate show  and they'll surprise you with their list of songs they know and they may even play a request or two (no, they don't do ANY Neil Diamond or Pearl Jam).
Their cd is now available.  10 songs to dance, drink, and make love to.  Recorded at Willyboy Recordings in London, Ontario. The cd also features additional backing vocals by Shaun Sanders of Sweet Leaf Garret and Buffalo Brothers fame.
