Taji enters the elevator and presses the'L' 4' button "I really need to
take a shower." She thinks she walks into the room takes a shower and

find Taji? Is she okay?" She looks beyond Kyou trying to see the other

darkness of the astral plane. He looks at Momichi. "Lost?" |

hall...was this going to turn into another fight? She stands quietly, but

be an air of confrontation about him. He glances out the door.

vanishes into the floor, and for a moment all the
shadow are stilled and quiet...as though contemplating what to do next. A
single tendril emerges from the floor and throws a sofa from the lobby
against the wall. It vanishes and the lights flicker back on. |

watches the woman vanish from view and withdraws his blade. "run for now, if it makes you happy." He mutters
disgustedly. "damn lowlevels.." |

Momichi runs down the stairs- using the banisters like parallel bars os she
swing her boady over the steps. Floor 3, 2...she rounds another corner and
stumbles out into the Lobby floor. |

eyes open wide as the girl impacts her neck and she stumbles forward, onto
the blade on Haru's hand. A small trickle of dark blood flows over her grey
skin from her lips as she looks into the man's eyes. "Nande...teme
yarou..." She pushes back from the man and begins to sink back into the
shadows. |

smirks as an ice blade forms around the hand with the seal. "domo" He says calmly. Pivoting on his left foot, he
turns towards where the girl landed and plunges his bladed hand towards the
off balanced Darkness's midsection. |

"Watch out!" Taji yelled as she ran at the darkness something
formed in her hand and she jumpped over the man hitting the darkness on the
back of the neak |

Momichi rubs her neck and begins running again. This was crazy- she glances
around the walls-still snaking with darkness- she needed more room. She heads
for the stairs and begins running downwards. |

28 Dec 04, Darkness: The
darkness's eyes open wide as something tingles beneath it's
skin, suddenly- it's senses are overloaded with pain, as the tissues of it's
body are incinerated. It releases the woman and thrashes about violently
howling and screaming. Yami sinks into a pool of shadows at her feet-
narrowly avoiding the man's ice attack. When she reappears from the floor-
she is and arms length behind him. She summons a shadow knife. |

and spreads his fingers wide- from the glow in his hand - a hail of foot long

hands still on the monsters claw, she releases the flame- summoning it just
under the dark surface of the monster's skin and willing it to spread throughout

grinds her teeth together. There was a strange aura around this one...like
her kind but not. It raises the girl off the floor and releases it's grip. "Kisama." shadows around her dance
like flame. In the hallway, the clawed hand lifts Momichi off the ground and
additional limbs emerge from the wall- finally revealing a large dark wolfman
like apparition. It bares it's fangs in a smile and lifts the woman towards
it's cavernous mouth |

sorry totally lost the order) As Momichi runs- tendrils coil near her feet,
trying to gain purchase- find a grip. From the crease near the ceiling a
large claw like hand shoots down and across -straining to reach Momichi's
neck. Yami looks over her shoulder and narrows her eyes. She turns- still keeping a tight grip on the girls throat despite her
struggles. "No" She hisses. She looks at the man."Who the fuck are you?" She asks menacingly. |

lobby, the air seems to ripple- the darkness becoming even darker as a tear
in space appears. There is a flach of dark energy and a man steps out into
view- a dark miasma still surrounding him. His crimson eyes glow in the dark.
"Hora hora...such creatures really are here." He raises a dagger in
a menacing point towards Yami. "Why don't you play with me...ko musume-
san?" He says with a smirk. |

another step towards Taji she looks over her, and then shoots out her hand-
grabbing for the young woman's throat. |

tendrils catch Momichi around her ankles, but blue flames lick around her
wrists before they can catch them. She lashes out with blade like flames at
the ebony vines as she struggles to reach the door handle. |

creature in M's room howls as it's body is engulfed
in a blaze. Shadows along the rooms walls and
ceiling ripple, and tendrils shoot out towards her wrists and ankles. The
Dark Woman takes a step towards Taji. "My name is Yami." She smiles
again. She seems to stare through the purple haired woman. "Tell me
Taji...do you enjoy living?" She smiles again...a quiet menace lurking
beneath the surface. |

Momichi stares wide-eyed at the creature in front of her and springs to her
feet. With a scream, she summons a ball of flames and sends it hurtling
towards the creature. She runs for the door. |

Momichi's room, the creature lands squarly on the bedding- missing the woman
by only a few inches. It's claws tear into the
bedding and tear grooves in the floor. It glares up at her with crimson
eyes...preparing to leap again. In the lobby, a human form seems to pool from
a shadow on the floor. Dark eyes and hair, with grayish skin. It walks
towards Taji with a venomous smile. "Good evening ko musume
[girlie]" it says in a feminine voice. |

someone had flipped a switch- all the lights in Kamen black out, plunging the
complecx into darkness. from the dark interior of
the lobby several pairs of unseeable eyes stare out at the form of an
approaching woman, they smile in anticipation. In Momichi's room, a large
beast seems to emerge from the shadows, clawed feet clicking lightly on her
floor. It gnashes it's fangs and springs forward-
ready to devour the sleeping woman. |

tendrils coil around themselves expectantly. Outside in the garden- shadows
snake out from the base of the building- seeming to dance on the walls with a

"Apparitions?" Momichi seems to think. "There's always been

Momichi smiles. "Alright." A plume of blue flame leaps from her
fingertips- lighting the sky in the form of a pheonix above her head.
"The fire is like my energy or my voice..." The pheonix flaps it's wings. "I control it." It shrinks back down
to a tiny blue flame rose in her palms. (ooc: front lawn) |

head droops. This woman was impossible. He raises two fingers and draws a
symbol in the air with glowing purple lines. The image hangs in the air and
he pushes it forwards towards a tree. The symbol hits the tree, and the wood
seems to disintegrate on contact- the entire plant reducing in milliseconds
to a pile of ashes. He looks back at the woman with cold eyes. "I AM a
Shinigami." |

famliar flurry of ebony feathers. He steps back from the rail and leaps into
the air- allowing himself to glide gently down the
side of the building. He lands quietly around the corner from where the blue
haired woman is sitting, and banishes his wings once again. He steps forward.

Momichi's blue eyes close as she drifts back into her thoughts. In a way,
things had been simpler when she only had to concern herself with survival-
with getting her next meal, figuring out where she would sleep on any given
night, but now that she was making a comfortable living...now that she could
afford herself the time to simply sit and think o0(Free
time leaves too much room for pessimism) She smiles glumly again. The flame
rose flickers and turns into vines of blue glow- transfiguring itself into a
cat sized dragon. She lifts her hands and sends the creature into the air. it arcs and circle elegantly above and in front of her
head. |

some reason decides to watch for awhile more...He leans forward on the

Momichi cups the flame creature with both hands- the glow still emitting from
within. She opens her hands again and a flickering rose seems to grow out of
her palms- it's blue flame petals unfurling and
spreading into a large blossom. She begins to hum softly. |

okay- these moments always passed...they would again. The flame takes on the
image of a butterfly and it lights from her finger tips and flaps elegantly
around her hand in the air. |

Shinigami stares out at the lights of the city, remembering once again just
how much the world had changed...and how alone he was within it. He had spent
many nights wondering if he had made the right desicion when he accepted the
gauntlet of a death angel... Something catches his eye below him. |

Despite her normal disposition, something had been bothering her all day-
