See and feel what it was like to be in a small town back in that era. This street is modeled after Walt�s hometown. The street is lined with all kinds of gift shops, and confectioner shops. Watch as a glass blower creates his masterpieces.
Take a step back in time to a time when everyone knew each other. Walt Disney has gone and created a street that was similar to a street in his hometown. Here on Main Street USA you will notice that all of the buildings are designed to look like the ones from Walt�s home town. If you look up at the windows on each of the shop windows along Main Street. You will the names of the Imagineers. You will find City Hall, which is located on the left. In this building is Guest Relations they can give you information on what is happening in the park or even make dining reservations for you. Main Street is the main pathway to get around the Magic Kingdom.
From here you can stroll down the street and go in and out of the different shops. Most of Main Street consists of old time shops, a penny arcade, and even a movie theater. The Movie Theater always has a special feature running and it is staring the big cheese himself, Mickey Mouse. On one side of the street you will find the crystal shop. Stop in and watch as a glass blower creates some of his magnificent pieces of art. As you continue down further you will discover the candy shop. In here you can find some nice gift tins of candy to take back for gifts. If you are having problems with your camera or just want to get your film developed stop in at the camera store located on the corner. They may be able to help you, if you need to rent or buy film stop in and see them. On the other side of street check out the magic shop. This is a fun store to walk around in and just cool off. Also here on Main Street is one of the larger stores that carries all kinds of character gifts. Plan on spending sometime in all of these shops.
