| For those of you that are looking for strictly luxury then this is the resort for you. Leave the kids at home and just spoil yourselves here in this Victorian elegance. From the time you enter this resort you will feel like you have stepped back in time. The Grand Floridian Resort has the look and feel of the Victorian era. This theme is carried throughout the hotel with the employees in traditional outfits. The hotel�s lobby is very elegant with the large floral arrangements, and a piano player that plays during the day and early evening. The lobby area is also incredible. Even if you don�t stay here take a trip over via the monorail and just walk around. |

| From the outside you will notice the bright white structure with all the latticework, along with the dark contrasting red roof, and white beaches that wrap around the building. As you can see this is a very elegant resort, with the piano player during the day and if you look up on the balcony level you will see an area set up for the band that entertains guests. Resort guests enjoy sitting here in the many different little sections. You will find lots of groupings of Chairs some even around small tables. |
| Here at the Grand Floridian you will find six different restaurants and lounges. One of the most elegant resort restaurants is located here at the Grand Floridian. If you are looking for a place to celebrate that special occasion then Victoria and Albert�s is the place. Victoria and Albert�s is a very elegant, but very, very expensive restaurant. They do request that all gentlemen wear jackets for this restaurant. Some of the other restaurants here are Citricos, Gasparilla Grill & Games, Grand Floridain Caf�, Narcoossee�s, 1900 Park Fare and Victoria and Albert�s. If you are looking for a place to drink here are a few places: Garden View � Enjoy your afternoon tea here, Mizner�s � this bar is located on the second floor, Summerhouse � This is the hot spot for pool and beach side drinks, and snacks. Located on the second floor of the lobby you will find some gift shops, hair salon, and restaurants. From here you have a spectacular view of the main lobby. You can also access the monorail from the second floor of the grand lobby. Enjoy the elegance of this resort, it has a lot to offer with a fitness center, swimming pool and white sand beaches. If you decide you can rent one of the many types of water boats that they have for some fun out on the waters of Seven Seas Lagoon. Some of the things that the Floridian offers are fishing excursions that are two hours per day reservations are needed. Did you ever want to try parasailing? Well, you can over the water of Bay Lake. Just call and make a reservation. Enjoy two-lighted clay tennis courts, video arcade, Spa, Health Club, sailboats, mini-speedboats, pedal boats, and a playground for the kids.
