| Fort Wilderness Campground Resort |
| For those that enjoy being in the great outdoors Disney has just the thing for you. The Fort Wilderness Campground Resort has the look and feel of being in woods. Each campsite has a paved driveway pad, picnic tables, and grills. Here you can either rent a RV or bring your own. Disney also has a limited number of cabins available. They are adding more each year. These cabins have a full kitchen in them, and they have grills out the back on the small deck. These can sleep six people. When calling you must ask for these cabins specifically. Fort Wilderness offers bike rentals to take out on the wooded bike trails, horse back riding, two pools, a white sand beach and marina area. They offer you a selection of five different restaurants and lounges. They even have two trading posts to spend time shopping at. Transportation to the theme parks is by WDW buses. You can take either the bus of a ferry over to The Wilderness Lodge, The contemporary, or to the Magic Kingdom. You maybe asking yourself if I am staying here at the campgrounds is there a place to eat. Yes you will find a place over at Pioneer Hall that serves home-style breakfast, lunch and dinner. At night you can enjoy an old fashion sing a long by the campfire, or try going out for a tour via a hay wagon. The cost for the rooms is determined by the season that you plan on going and the type of site you want.
