The Extra Terrorestrial Alien Encounter is one of the newest attraction here in the Magic Kingdom. This attraction will push your imagination to the extreme. Guests will be asked to enter an area to view a pre-show on the possibilities of teleportation. A robot by the name of S.I.R. will present a brief demonstration on teleportation. You will notice that he has two bell shaped glass containers. One located to his left, which is empty and one to his right. His assistant for this experiment is �Skippy� located in the right container. This poor defenseless creature will show you just how safe teleportation will be. During this demonstration S.I.R. experiences a slight problem transporting Skippy. The end result shows him with burned fur and glowing. After this you are asked to step in to the next area.
For the real show guests enter the large convention center that is set up in the round with a large teleporter located in the center. The guests are seated for a demonstration of a new teleportation system built by an alien corporation called �XS-Tech�. Chairman Clench can hardly wait to show off their new transporter. They have gone and created this machine that is capable of breaking down practically any object and sending it across the galaxy through space then reconstruct it at the final destination. But they have a problem they have never tested it with a human. Now, when they try to transport the XS-Tech chairman to Earth they run in to a slight technical problem. Instead of Chairman Clench the alien reps accidentally send a very large dragon type creature with a bad attitude and breath. Guests are unable to escape from their seats since they are locked into them. As the smoke clears guest panic stricken slowly watch as this creature begins to materialize in the glass chamber. Is this glass chamber able to hold the creature. The alien reps watch from monitors until the glass starts to crack. This glass chamber is located in the center of the theater so if the creature escapes the people on the first row will be eaten first. Those of you that are seated in the back half will be eaten later. Everything starts to get out of control when this alien some how does escape from the chamber. That�s when the theater goes dark and your imagination starts to take over. Watch out, as this alien flies around the theater. Is the creature really flying above you? That rush of wind, that just past over your head was that the alien creature? Hot breath from the alien can be felt and something wet on the back of your neck. Is this alien going to have you for lunch?
I highly recommend this attraction it will push your senses to the max. The demonstration is only 20 minutes. This attraction is not for young kids. I have been on this a number of times and I still jump every time. If you are able try to sit on the first row. All of the seats are good but the first row feels the effects more.
The line for this attraction does move fast. The wait that you see is to get into the theater. They only let in the amount that will fill the theater. The show is about 20 minutes, but it is well worth it. |
