We adopted Gypsy in September of 2002. I fell in love with Shih Tzus because our friends had one. So we got our Gyps from a breeder not far from here. Then our beloved Bounce (our Sheltie) got very sick and we had him put down.
So we thought it would be fun to breed Gypsy and keep one of the puppies. Our friend bred hers twice and had three puppies in one little and two in the next one...so I figured okay...I need three puppies...one for me, one for the breeder and one to sell. Gypsy had FIVE puppies!!! Four girls and one boy. Tzus don't usually have such big litters. But our vet, (bless her little heart) sent two families our way and they adopted girl puppies who were named Rosie and Spooky. Then we put ads in the paper and that brought another lady who adopted a girl puppy and named her Zoey. I was keeping a girl so that just left....THE MOOSE!!! We nicknamed him Moose cause he was just SO BIG! He weighed 7 ounces at birth, the girls only weighed 4.
We kept trying to find someone to adopt him, but no one called so we kept him. He is just too funny!!!!!!
This is MOOSE. He's our resident trouble maker.
This is BELLA on the back steps. She is Moose's sister.
The "dog pile." Whenever I sit, they all want to be on my lap.
