Concept/program: Ex-Dutch frigates, a slightly modified version of the British Royal Navy Leander class design. Had undergone major updates 1977-1980, prior to transfer. Sea Cat Saurface-to-Air-Missiles (SAM) has been replaced by two positions for Mistral SAM.
Builders: Nederlandse Dok en Scheepsbouw Mij, Amsterdam (353, 354, 355) and Koninklijke Maatschappij de Schelde, Vlissingen, Nederland.

Concept/program: Old ex-RN general-purpose frigates. One sister in reserve, probably for cannibalization. Used only for patrol duties, most weaponsystems are completely obsolete and some may not be operational. The old primitive Sea Cat SAM system has maybe been replaced by the more advanced Mistral SAMs.
