| June 19, 1963 in Alden, England. By 1980 Simon Wright became a sucessful drummer for the band AIIZ. A year later at the young age of 18 Simon joined a band called "Tora Tora". After a few albums Simon Wright and AIIZ broke up. After this in 1982 he moved on to England. Here Simon found a nitch in a heavier sounding band called "Tytan". Tytan was an already sucessful British band. But by 1983 financial problems however broke Tytan up. But laterin 1983 after encourage ment to join a band looking for a drummer, Simon Write became AC/DC's newest member. He played on Such memorable albums as: Fly on the Wall Who Made Who Blow Up your video But by 1989 the band Dio offered Simon Wright a better offer. Last known Simon Wright left Dio after they rejoined Black Sabbeth a year later. SImon then went on to release an album in 1994 called "pain" his most recent work. |
