Humanistic Buddhism Discussion Group
Updated: January 1, 2009
This is a discussion group studying the Buddha's teachings, eschewing religious rituals, artificial authority and sectarianism.

The Buddha taught human beings how to liberate themselves from all sufferings. Each individual must take full responsibility for their own intentions, speeches and actions, which is the foundation for living in harmony with all other beings.

Each month the group meets to read and discuss Buddhist writings as applied to current events.  Meditation technique will be covered. Through these discussions everyone learns the fundamentals of living ethically, mindfully and wisely. Your participation in the discussions is voluntary.

All are welcome. No charge.
