Spiritual Teaching: As a Christian preschool, we are committed to present the Gospel to our students through academic channels. We integrate Biblical principles into our lessons, and show our students that God is a huge, all-powerful being that is small enough to carry around in your pocket so that He may be with you everywhere and in everything. Our staff members are all committed Christians who share a common love for Christ and His young children. We view our "downtown" setting as an opportunity for outreach mission work by spreading the Good News to the nearby community through the teaching of the "most innocent" - preschool children.

Social Behavior: We believe that a preschool should be a place where children can come to learn how to interact and behave with other children. We provide various types of activities and situations in which students are able to learn how to cooperate, to lead/follow, share, work independently, respect others, and learn about themselves. Along with teaching the children to act as Christ would like them to, the staff also helps the children prepare for the school environments they will attend after they leave our preschool.

Physical Skills: Activities in the classroom, as well as during playtime, provide opportunites to develop fine and large motor skills. Through these activities, students gain the necessary skills that aid natural development and lead to success in school. Good health and safety is taught and practiced so that students will learn to care for themselves independently.

Emotional Development: We strive to let each student be successful at his or her own rate of development. By doing this, the child realizes a sense of self-confidence, a love for learning, and an eagerness to learn new things. Building self-esteem at an early age is imperative, and the preschool provides a loving, caring environment to learn this important mindset. All children are a gift from God, and the staff helps the students learn that each one of them is of great worth and special in their own way.

Intellectual Learning: Creativity is a gift of every teacher on staff, so with the guidance of our curriculum, Essentials (Gospel Publishing House), the learning activities change from year to year. Each age group has a list of benchmarks that is to be followed when developing yearly lesson plans, so that the students gain the necessary skills by the end of each school year. Children quickly learn what they "like and don't like," so activities are planned that enable each student to be successful and to help them develop at a steady rate in all areas of learning.
