Via ferrata del Limbo is in Oropa valley, 12 Km. from Biella.
The easiest way of reaching the starting point is to take the cableway Oropa-Lago del Mucrone; from the upper station, follow the signs which lead down along a ski slope; when you see a large board on your right, follow the roads which winds up in a former open-cast mine; at the third hairpin bend, leave the road and follow the footpath going slightly down. Once you reached an abandoned chalet, bear right and keep going, until you come at the base of the climbing paths.

The time required for the approach is approx. 1 hour 15 min.

Even if this path is very easy and ideal for beginners, please keep in mind some safety directions:

• The use of a helmet, parbuckle, snap-hooks and ropes with a security device in order to avoid shocks in case of fall, is compulsory.
• It is forbidden to use the "ferrata" for the way down. The return will be along the marked footpath.
• If you are approaching a "ferrata" for the first time, there must be someone expert to teach you the basics.
