Yes, no, maybe, I don't know/ Can you reprat the question?

"Boss of Me" They Might Be Giants
So, "President" Bush gave his State of the Union address last night. What did he say? I don't know, I didn't watch it.

The SOTUA is rarely interesting, since we hear the president's thoughts every day on one of the 43 news networks, and read about it in the newspaper every day. In fact, USA Today had a whole write-up on what the SOTUA would be about the day before the speech. So why watch. Actually, I was hoping he would have a giant "State of the Union" sign on the wall behind him, just to make sure he didn't forget where he was.

Anyway, apparently we have to go fight Saddam soon. I thought that was why he got emergency power to start a war before the election, but I guess that was just so he could get his party elected.

Now, I know Saddam is a bad guy. Frankly, I'd like to see him staked down next to a fire ant hill and covered in honey. But don't we have highly trained operatives that could take care of him without having a full scale war? Why don't we effect one of those "Regime Changes" we got so good at down in South America? You know, Democracy with extreme prejudice? Then we wouldn't have a bunch of our soldiers killed by friendly fire like last time.

They keep telling us that Iraq has "Weapons of Mass Destruction." Well, either he does or he doesn't. If he doesn't, then our war effort would hit a snag, since that is the basis for our attack. If he does, why hasn't he used them already? What is he waiting for? Wouldn't an attack make him more likely to attack us in kind?

Now, I'm no foreign affairs expert, so I'm just shooting off at the keyboard here, but that's a question I really want answered before I support a full scale war with Iraq, Iran, North Korea, Qatar, Brazil, Zimbabwe and New Zealand.

Wait. We like New Zealand, even if they can't figure out when summer is.

Gods this stuff sucks.

I'm Ken Feucht, and there is nothing I want right now more than a good ham sandwich.
