| I am officially a college graduate. Lucky me. I spent my graduation party drinking heavily, and those people who came were not disapointed if they wanted to see me plowed. Thank you to all who came to help me celebrate my milestone. The downside of having a party, however, is the people who say they will come, then don't. If you don't want (or can't) to go to a party, tell the person. Don't say you will come, then just not show up. That is diseased. I also learned that my parents enjoy Irish pub music. Tramps and Hawkers played McGoff's this weekend, and played a good set too. They are a great, fun band to see, especially when drunk. So see them if you are able. So, now that I am a graduate, I get to start living in the real world. Actually, I have another month and a half of police training, but then I am so going to be in the real world. It's a scary thought, but at the same time I am excited. I think too many people go into college looking to get a degree so they can make a lot of money. I will be doing something I truly enjoy. Not that you have to enjoy your job. Work is just something you do to allow yourself to enjoy the rest of your life is how I see it. Work is not your life. You shouldn't have to love your job. Forty hours is not a lot for a week. It's the time off you are supposed to enjoy. If you like your job, that is the Win, but it should never be more fun than your real life. Pontification over. In other news, guess who won "Best Arts & Entertainment Writer" for the MSU Reporter. Me baby! I figured it was a mistake, but nope. I really won. I am off now, to seek out my fortune in the world. Would you like to come along? If so, make sure you show up when you say you will. Or I'll cover you in gasoline and light a match. Capice? I'm Ken Feucht, and I need a job. |

| P.S. I used the "Ave Satani" lyrics because the song happened to be playing on my computer at the time I wrote this. It in no way constitues an affiliation with Satanists of any kind. Watch "The Omen" to learn more. |
