The Book of Apples has an apendix called On the Topic of Animals. It is from there that I have determined the following animals to be sacred to the church and to all people. Treat them well, and you will be treated well in return.
Llama-(As if you didn't know) The llama is the animal held most sacred by the Church. I'm not sure why. The book is really foggy on this, but for some reason llamas have special magical powers allowing them to speak to people who are under the influence of hallucinogens. They were created by the gods to provide enlightenment to those who seek it. When in doubt, consult a llama.
Elephant- The elephant, the largest of land animals, is very special. It's trunk has the ability to pull up a tree trunk, and at the same time pick up a single pin. No human invention can do that. Elephants are also quite intelligent. The elephant is the symbol of Ganesha, one of the sacred Deities of Kenfeuchtism.
Archaeopterix- Not much is known about this prehistoric bird/dinosaur, but it is the first link between the dinosaur and birds, which makes it very significant. If you ever see an archaeopterix, take it as an omen of good luck.
Dolphin- Very simply, dolphins are way smarter than humans. They are highly evolved, and we land dwellers should be scared if they ever learn to live out of the water, or grow opposable thumbs.
