| No new stuff, just an update. I doubt anyone will actually read this since it's been so long since I did anything. It's the first of September an I still have about a month left of break to go. Those lucky state schoolers are already hitting the books and falling asleep in class. Lame. Anyway, I've been working hard in the factory all summer. It's really a great job. I sit in front of a pile of papers analyze net and fill weights and put all the quality control data into a computer. It's a super easy job. I gave myself the title "Quality Control Data Entry and Analyst". Sounds pretty good. Anyway, I only got two days off in the month of August. It was grand. I worked twenty straight days. The peach season is almost over so I will have about a week of vacation left to get ready to go back to school I've been buying up recording equipment lately and am going to try to start a small recording business down in IV. I'm pretty sure lots of crumby bands in IV will want to record and pay me to do it...let's hope so. I will hopefully have a new album or EP out by Christmas. I haven't exactly gotten around to writing songs yet because I've been trying to get good enough at drums in a month to write and record songs...I'm not quite there yet...ahem. Anyway, I intend on recording a bunch of raw tracks in these next couple weeks and then mixing them and redoing anything while I'm at school. Everyone should expect some bomb tracks ...dammit, I mean music soon. The camera has laid dormant the entire break. Lame. I have some new polaroids to put up, but that is about it. Well, I still have a month left, so I guess we will see. All right, that's about all for now. Enjoy the rest of break if you're cool and go to a quarter system, and to those of you in semester...I'm sorry. |
