| Great...so I hvae a huge paper due on Monday about a painting by Winslow Homer. I spent something like five hours in the Arts Library and Regular library yesterday looking for inromation on this painting or its cultural references or somthing like that. Most of the information I found was in the Black Studies department of the library. That place is awesome. I got caught up in reading about Jazz and Miles Davis because it was in the same area. Just being in my school made me realize how many books there are...and there are so many libraries just like mine or bigger. This also made me think that there are far too many books in the world. There are probably thousands in my library that haven't even been opened and yet they sit on the shelf collecting dust...books. Anyway, I have this paper to due, then another one on Thursday, and then finals start on Saturday for me. I go home on the 22nd about and am giving Lisa a ride home. Should be fun. Alison is supposed to come and visit today. I haven't seen her in a few months. She is coming down to see someone else but that person works all night and she wants me to show her around Santa Barbara...hmmm, like I would know where to go. I hope you checked out the links page..because it's just some good stuff. I'm looking for some more links to put up on there. |
