| My photo class has been a little rough on me thus far. I am supposed to do self portraits, and although I could pick another subject or project to do, I like to stick with this one because it's a challenge to find new ways to present myself. I was going to do the normal picture taking of myself, but my TA said that wasn't acceptable because I already know how to take aesthetic images and that isn't so much of a challenge. So I came up with this idea to do a series of stamp sheets. These aren't going to be your normal stamps, they are giong to be advertising things which stamps wouldn't normally advertise. Some of them might offend people. Know that offending people is not what I'm out to do, I'm trying to create something interesting that I have never tried before. I think this project could turn out pretty rad if I do it right and formulate my ideas correctly. They will be up on the site as soon as I am done with the critique from my TA. Tomorrow is Toner's birthday...you should IM him, or email him if you can't see him...if you can see him though, you should give him a kiss, or...sex, or whatever. Note, tomorrow is also 4/20....ooooooooh, you all know what I'm going to be doing...sleeping in and taking more pictures while Toner is going to be smoking out. I've scanned the last of the images of Anisah's work and it will be up as soon as I can upload it and create a nifty little title for it. Also, I'm trying to convince this other girl to let me put some of her work up on the site...so be ready. Also in the near future is going to be a section called "Capturing Vanity" which essentially is all of my self portraits...that one should be funny. In the more distant future will be a section of the pictures I took in China. Sign the guestbook brah. |
