Lloyd is the twin-blade-wielding suspender-wearing main character in Tales of Symphonia. He lives in a small town called Iselia with his friends Genis and Colette. Colette is "the Chosen" whose fate is to save the world. Lloyd and Genis sneak out of school to go with her to their village's temple to protect her and help her through the trials inside, which happen to include not-so-original monsters.Some evil and bad people try to kill them, but they are rescued by a strange mercenary named Kratos. Lloyd, Genis, Colette, and Kratos overcome the trials inside and something happens BUT I WON'T TELL YOU!! MUAHAHA!! Afterwards, Colette must leave Iselia with Kratos and Raine (Genis' sister who is the town's schoolteacher.) Lloyd and Genis are forbidden to go. But SOMETHING happens and Lloyd and Genis must leave Iselia and they join Colette on her journey to regenerate |

the world. Like in nearly every other RPG, he is one of the strongest playable characters. Lloyd is (obviously) the default character to play as, although you can switch to anyone else. He has a strong sense of justice but is EXTREMELY stupid, not being able to comprehend words like "gravity". He also cusses more than anyone else in the game.In battle, he is strong and fast.
Since nearly everyone who owns this game plays as him the entire time, try beating the game by using him the least amount possible to increase the difficulty. Lloyd starts out at level 3 and is equipped with soft leather and wooden blades.

Colette is the main female of Tales of Symphonia. She is sixteen years old and is the "Chosen"- believed to have angels for parents and is destined to regenerate the world's mana-a force that is the source of all life. One day in class, a bright ray of light passes through Iselia, indicating that Colette is to start the ritual. Raine, their teacher, goes on ahead to the temple. Lloyd, who had been standing in the back of the class holding two buckets of water to prevent him from sleeping (he still does anyway) decides to go investigate the source of the light. Colette, being Lloyd and Genis' best friend, tags along and Genis is forced to go with them. As I said before, evil and bad people try to stop them, but they are saved by Kratos. After overcoming the trials inside the temple, Colette leaves Iselia with Raine and Kratos, leaving Lloyd and Genis |

behind. Colette, Kratos, and head to the Triet desert to release the first seal of mana. But SOMETHING happens and Lloyd and Genis are reunited with the three. Not at all angered by this, Colette takes them with her, and they help her regenerate the world. Colette wields chakrams(large ringlike weapons with blades attached) and gains skills as she becomes an angel. At first, she is very fast but, sadly, gets extremely slow after becoming an angel. Her strength is average the entire game and is the only character who can attack from a distance with a normal attack. Colette's Tech points are the highest in the game and she has high HP too. Her defense is pretty low though. Overall, she is a unique character that not enough people use. Colette starts at level 1 = ( and is equipped with a leather guard and a chakram. If you are using her in your party, try to play as her because she unfortunately has retarded AI. She is a very kind and caring person, but she's also kind of dumb.
