How often do we think of heaven? It does not seem fair to have a scanty description of it even in the Scriptures, it being our ultimate and definitive goal. Our "peak" moments in life when we think we have reached the highest levels of satisfaction -- even these do not compare with the joys of heaven. For in heaven, there will be no more tears, no more pain, no more anxieties, no more separation from loved ones. It is there where all our dreams come true.
Lord, help me develop the habit of thinking of heaven, not to forget my job on eartn, but precisely to spur me on to seek heaven.
