| [29] - Albert Schweitzer It is a special privilege to see a tree grow, a house built, a son grow up. To harvest what one has sown is a reasonable and reachable goal of the farmer. But there are things in life that just don't grow that fast, like social change or a transformation of a social condition. To harvest what one has sown in this case is a very special grace. Lord, grant me the grace to be happy for just having sown seeds of change in my lifetime. Like Blessed John Henry Newman, one step is enough for me, for a preview of the seeds germinating and fructifying would be too much to bear. It will be too much happiness to enjoy in one lifetime.
