The options you make dictate the life you live.

This line taken from a dialogue in the movie, "The Renaissance Man," gives an unequivocal advice to those who question permanent commitments. Small as well as big decisions in life define our freedom. We cannot simply reshape our life each time a major problem crops up.

Lord, many people still "cry over spilt milk"or regret a bad choice made, blaming others for it. How often I thought I made a good decision only to find out too late that it was a mistake and an irrevocable one. At such times, Lord, give me the serenity of heart to live the life fashioned by my choices, even though I do not see the larger picture.
