NEWS ARCHIVE... UPDATED 9.1.08: Announcing... THE "FOD" GRAND OPENING - SEPTEMBER 20th @ 10 AM - FIELDS OF DREAMS, GREAT MEADOWS Come out and celebrate the new course with us. There will be "experts" on hand, offering tips and info on this ever-growing new sport, as well as contests like longest drive and closest to the basket. You'll have a chance to win some free discs and a have a ton of fun. Hope to see you there.  UPDATED 8.13.08: In case you haven't heard, the course is fully operational and getting a good amount of play. It's listed on pdga.com (here) and we plan on releasing the date of the "official" opening weekend very soon. Here is a picture of third hole, Chunnel...  UPDATED 7.17.08: While we put the finishing touches on the new disc golf course out in Great Meadows, NJ, we are pleased to announce that this website is now fully operational. Look around and get ready for the first ever disc golf virtual video tour, coming soon.  UPDATED 6.10.08: Work is nearly complete on a brand new disc golf at the Fields of Dreams Municipal Complex in Great Meadows, New Jersey. And this is the official website of that course, affectionately known as "FOD" (fodcourse.com). The 9-hole track will offer up a tight and challenging woodland layout with dual tees on every hole. Stay tuned to this space for details about the grand opening festivities.  |
