Music holds a powerful window into our soul. It has an influence on the way we think, feel, and love. Evan's solo work cuts through the muck and mire that, all too often, clouds our vision of what music can and should be. Not many people know about his work, but it excellently shows his technical prowess and esthetic sensibility. Look for the new album from Dusheck out on Dirty Sock Records soon. His project is entitled The Patience Recovery, and the mostly acoustic, reflective work will be expanded upon and sharpened until it's ready to be released upon the public. "The Story of the Clown Shoes Mob," one of the first songs recorded, has a mesmirizing banjo accompianment. Brace yourselves for Evan's album. Like the darkness before the sun hits, it only takes time before all will be revealed. |
