The Summer Slaughter end with three survivors! Next stop, Halloween!
If you weren't at the Summer Slaughter game here's the scoop!  The PCs arrive at one of Coachman Gray's residences in the jungles of Acronius, under pretense of vieing for a deceased millionaire's inheritance.  Quickly the Coachman arrives and sends them - ready or not- plunging into an underground cavern to investigate the remant of a lost civilization.  The hallways are heavily trapped and chalk-marked from other parties that have gone before them. Still they lose two of their ranks, a scalp and an ear in the process of navihgating the traps.  Then they are beset by an angry horde of natives - black skinned, tailed, mean creatures that attack by gouging their eyes, stabbing them with ice-pick like weapons and bludgeoning them with their tails.  The fend them off with fire and proceed to a barricaded region of the caverns where this race has locked away his ancient enemies.  They cross a river of muck and fight a team of prehistoric crypto-evolutionaries. Not all of them survive the battle.  Then they come to the end of the cavernm where HE WHO SLEEPS resides. They discover that the native's god is none other than a sleeping behemoth. After sabotaging their only escape from the cavern, the behemoth awakes and rises through the earth, taking some 100,000 acres with it. The rest of the party are killed in the unearthing process except for Michelle, Ben, and Mike who rise some 300 feet into the atop the largest creature on Pangaia. He gobbles up the jungle like a snickers bar, drinks the sea down a few feet and stomps all over the Coachman's castle - which was to be their inheritence if they survived.  I don't know if everyone had a good time, but I did.
