The move of Chris Slobodian (guitarist) to better things prompted Justin Ashley (drummer) to ditch his former band AsteriX & try to start up a new band.
This sudden downfall left Jordan Ashley (Lead guitarist) & Joel Laramay (bass) to their own resources in music.
Jordan wanted to have a new musical experience that would "pull audiences in all directions."
The boys kept in touch and played an acoustic set at a local open mic night. It was there that the two musicians decided to make a band together. They pulled in Joel's brother Andrew to play clarinet for them and "Making Purple" was born! |
