Storm Watch: McMahon, Black Hand, more...
By Jonathan "THE IMPACT" Storm
Hey guys...it's the Stormster...once again across the Atlantic, delivering a strong Storm Watch for you guys...damn, I'm too enthusiastic for this time of morning...
Anyways, I pull up the Dirtsheet, and I see my agent tooting the horn of The Black Hand. Am I mad at him? OF COURSE! We all know The Lost Boys are better (sorry, Jon...you know I'm right). Anyways, I can see this created a backlash, and I can see both sides of the story. Am I going to bail McMahon's ass out of this? Hell no. Am I going to side with the people hating him? Hell no.
Look at it from this perspective. When the Black Hand won the NYSWF Tag Titles, they were the standout team of the NYSWF. Maybe it was because of the lack of teams, or dominant teams (New England's Finest?), but honestly, I don't think that Mac should be crucified for it. He's got an opinion on the matter, just like everyone else. It's the beauty of freedom of speech, and in this case, press as well. Still, Jon, you're an idiot for it, as you know I'm the biggest Public Enemy fan in the world. Hell, they beat up Grady for me once!
Whether or not the rumours are true, and we'll see the Black Hand face Bloodsport and/or Public Enemy? Well, I'll be first in line to watch that. For the modern fans of the NYSWF, and this circuit (which means basically you've been around for less than a year), it's a match you'd want to see. The legends you've heard about, against a team you've grown to HATE (pun intended).
So the MTT2 roster has rounded out. Looks like Michael and I are going to have some interesting competition, the most appealing team for me to face at the moment is Finger Lickin' Good. I'm almost positive those guys are the early favorites. Michael and I need to find religion, and fast. :)
Let's clear up a rumour. I have had contract negotiations with another fed in this circuit. I approached them. Nothing more has come out of that. When I know more? You'll just have to watch TV.
Camel? Cheer up! I signed your paychecks, the least you could do is shamelessly plug me.
Anyways, now that I've clarifyed all those matters, I'd like to introduce you to Michael Trey. Michael's an entrepenueur, such as myself, and he's one hell of a wrestler. With the exception of the Canadian Title, Michael has held all the titles, and a few of them multiple times. Widely regarded as the HWF's "King of Violence", Michael's "Light's Out" moonsault is probably the best one you've ever (or never, if you only watch the HWF on TV) seen. Straight out of Milwaukee, Trey's one of the best in the world...and he's got good taste in tag team partners. He's usually pretty anti-social besides his promos, but I managed to get the HWF's resident pyromaniac to answer a few questions for me.
Storm: How do you feel about our chances in the MTT2?
Trey: I think we're easily the best team that no one knows about. Just think about it for a second. You know most of the people involved in this tournament, so we've got the knowledge. But yet, not many people here know much about ME. Combine these two facts and you've got a combination for the best bet in the tourney, in my opinion.
Storm: Describe your wrestling style in detail, but don't bore me. *chuckles*
Trey: How could you ever be bored when it's about me, Storm? My style? Take the high-flying moves and speed, add in a high tolerance for pain, a love for violence and definite pyromanic tendencies, and then top it all off with the reckless abandon of someone who just doesn't care if he gets hurt. That's Trey in a nutshell.
Storm: Point taken, Michael...anyways...I guess you can give the rest of the circuit a few things to get to know Michael outside of the ring. Hobbies? Favorite band? Stuff like that?
Trey: Well... I guess my favorite band would have to be Linkin Park right now. As for hobbies, I don't really have many. Mostly just spending time with my fiance, Claire Matthews. I'm originally from Milwaukee, and have spent my entire career in the HWF, winning just about every title there. Most of my life revolves around wrestling in some format. I figure that I might as well do all I can now, because I know I'll have to retire young, otherwise I'll end up killing myself in a match one day.
Ha! You thought I'd give Mikey away? Better luck next time. Anyways, until next week, I'm out like a light.
