Dark Nation Sits Down With Lunatikk Crippler

Dark Nation: October 8, 2001

Below is a transcript of an interview between Dark Nation, and NYSWF wrestler and member of HATE, Lunatikk Crippler.

Dark Nation: Hello, all. Dark Nation here, and I'm sitting down with NYSWF Hardcore Legend, HATE member and a personal idol for me, Lunatikk Crippler. Crip, It's a pleasure for the Dirtsheet to have you here.

Lunatikk Crippler: Hey, I've always been a fan of the Dirtsheet's work, so it's a pleasure for me as well.

Dark Nation: First off, It was a damn shame to see what happened this week for you. You rightfully won that title in this interviewers eyes.

Lunatikk Crippler: Well, in the eyes of everyone else, I came up short. I can't say I'm not disappointed, because it could have gone either way. Perhaps someone would be saying the same thing to Chris Kage if I were named the victor.

Dark Nation: True, indeed. So, what do you think of the rest of the Pay Per View... or were you not watching?

Lunatikk Crippler: I caught some of it. I had to prepare for my match after all. But from what I've been told, everyone put on a teriffic show. John Iley wins a rookie bowl, you've got the return of The Wanderers, and Chip Masters returns. I honestly didn't see much after that.

Dark Nation: It was worthy of the money spent by President Collins. Which brings me to my next point. What do you think of Corey?

Lunatikk Crippler: What do I think of Corey? Perhaps you shouldn't have asked that question, but here goes. He's a good business man, and he knows how to run a federation. However, he makes his fair share of mistakes. I hear he got in the ring with Kanyon the other night. Is that true?

Dark Nation: Oh yes... the humerous highlight of the night.

Lunatikk Crippler: *laughs* I'm sorry I missed it. I'll take a look at the video later.

Dark Nation: Be sure to... hahaha. So how do the ranks of the NY look to you?

Lunatikk Crippler: Better then ever, really. You've got a group of hardworking, spotlight hungry guys and that's where the best action is. I don't even know who to start with.

Dark Nation: Chip Masters?

Lunatikk Crippler: Young guy, talented, dangerous on the ground. You gotta keep him moving or you'll end up not moving, if you know what I mean.

Dark Nation: ICE?

Lunatikk Crippler: Taught the kid everything he knows. I helped him out when he broke into the sport, and I'm glad I did, because that's one talent I know isn't wasted.

Dark Nation: Dare I ask... Andrew Spears?

Lunatikk Crippler: DN, only one word comes to mind: DOUCHEBAG. Although he does have some talent, he has trouble focusing and the talent is going down the toilet.

Dark Nation: I'm afraid I'll have to disagree. He's got alot of potential. I see that he could be a huge part of the federation. What about the rookie scene?

Lunatikk Crippler: Well, you've got The Darkling, who jumped right into the thick of things, and as I've heard, got his ass handed to him by Johnny Storm. I'll have to wait and see about that. Then, you've got John Iley. He's a tough old bloke if I ever saw one. He can beat ya. The trouble is finding out how.

Dark Nation: John Iley's a personal favorite of mine. Definatly climbing the ladder. How about the so-called "hardcore division". Even though the NYSWF doesn't have a pure hardcore title, there are a group of guys around, including yourself, who are reviving the good old name of hardcore.

Lunatikk Crippler: As a two time NYSWF Hardcore champion, I know the scene quite well. You've got ICE, the current N/A-Core champion, Spyke, the former champ, Jason Pheonix who is smoother than silk in that kind of environment. John Iley just jumping in head first to it all, and shamelessly, you've got me right on top. Not to toot my own horn here, but it's gonna be hard to duplicate some of the stuff that I've done not only in NY, but all over the world.

Dark Nation: I think any educated Dirtsheet reader knows all about those exploits, so I'm not gonna get into them. Getting back to our previous discussion, what do you think of Spyke?

Lunatikk Crippler: He's green. He'll get better eventually. Not that he's not any good now. If he wasn't any good, then he wouldn't have taken the N/A-Core title, would he? I smell a rematch soon, and it could be nice and messy.

Dark Nation: And what a bloody mess my House of Pane creation became. Another thing you gotta catch on the tape. Crip, thanks for joining me here. Lunatikk Crippler: My pleasure, Naysh. Take care.

(The two shake hands as Nation exits the room. Fade out)
