J is the bands introspective & philosophical member, whose often-sardonic lyrics & unorthodox songwriting manage to strike a personal chord in the listener. Having performed in a vast array of different bands, ranging from hard rock to ultra-heavy speed metal to psychedelic blues rock, J's approach to singing defies trendy & conventional technique. Literally using his voice as an instrument, J's tone & inflection brings a staggering range of moods & interpretations that always seem to capture each line like a "moment in time".

Jimmy Lloyd-Logsdon

Js musical pursuits began at age four, when he began playing piano. His musical lineage reaches as far back as three generations. His great-uncle, Jimmy Lloyd-Logsdon (pictured at right) charted in 1957 with Where The Rio DeRosa Flows & in 1958 with the Rockabilly cult-favorite, I Got a Rocket In My Pocket. Jimmy also hosted a Country Music TV Show in the early 50s with his sister, Martha Toombs. J's cousin, Ray Barrickman performs & records with Hank Williams Jr's Bama Band. Js mother, Marilyn Logsdon (Miller) was also a country performer in the 50s. J has been performing before crowds since 1986 & 2001 finds him with a renewed confidence & creative peak that shows no signs of stopping.
