Chris brings to Signal To Noise, his business-savvy & seamless sense of melody. Always the diplomat, he is the glue that holds the band together in the worst of times. His quirky style & songwriting are indispensable and undoubtedly at the core of everything that is Signal To Noise.

Young Chris
Chris' musical journey began at 8:00pm on a typical Wednesday evening, when he inadvertently turned the channel to a Liberace TV special. It seemed for a time that playing piano was an obvious choice. However, his first introduction to the music of Van Halen, Bowie, & Kiss changed everything almost instantaneously. It was shortly thereafter that his parents bought him his first guitar,a flimsy Global Electric & a Montgomery Ward amplifier. ( both pictured at right ) By his mid-teens, he was playing for a Blues Brothers Tribute band & a locally successful hard rock band with several of his close friends. Eventually, through many years of lineup changes, that hard rock band evolved into Signal To Noise. Through the years, his love for music remains unwaivered. Perhaps his Global Guitar is the only thing that didn't perservere...as it met its untimely demise at the hands of a Black & Decker powersaw. His parents still don't know about it, either.
