Grassy Knob |
Grassy Knob chert almost completely replaces the limestone in the formation. This chert forms in thick deposits (Willman 1975) of yellow grey and light olive brown chert. The weathered exterior of Grassy Knob is brown to grey in color. There are few to no fossils associated with Grassy Knob chert (Willman 1975). |
