| Get In The Same Class As Your Friends No doubt about it, having a friend in class makes it easier to get through the most boring teacher or subject. We have all been stuck in a class which the clock seems to move slower than molasses in winter, and no one we know surrounds us. Sometimes this forces us into learning something we would never have paid attention to before, which is a good lesson in and of itself, but this spell is about fun. There is nothing wrong with mixing fun with learning. Teachers who embrace this attitude often have more students excelling than not. Whether it is a matter of humor, putting lessons to music, or just lighting up the atmosphere of the room, fun can enhance learning. Cast this spell at the end of summer or winter break at least two weeks before school starts. Concentrate on the people you would like to have in class as well as the attitude of the teacher and the atmosphere of the room. Some teachers are such sticklers that even if you had 10 of your best friends in class, they would not have let you look sideways at them without an embarrassing or offending punishment. So keep your focus on the feeling you desire, not just the right combanation of people. Get 2 different colours of modeling clay: your favourite colour and either a colour that represents a particular friend or pink to represent any friend. Fashion the clay into people. Form one person in your favourite colour to resemble you and the other to symbolize your friend. Get a picture or statue of the Tibetan goddess Tara, and place you clay images on either side of her. Say Tara, ruler of education and wisdom, Grant my wish to have some fun. Bring friends of mine into class; Together we'll learn and have a blast. Leave the images in place until the first day of school. |

| Have A Good First Day Of School Everyone wants to make a good impression on the first day of school. One of the most important aspects of being happy there or anywhere is attitude. If you wake up and say to yourself, "This is a bad day" or "I hate Monday," and so on, then no amount of spellwork will help you. What is inside yourself really makes your day. You colour every event in your life by your out look and the way you approach it. Your attitude determinds whether or not you will make a good impression. Know that every day is in harmony with the Divine order. Harmony begins as an idea or thought, eventually manifesting in your actions and character. Perform this ritual the night before school starts, and play classical or other soothing music. Place one teaspoon of valerian root and one teaspoon of lavender in a piece of blue or purple cloth six inches square. Repeat the word: "Harmony." Concentrate on the images of harmony as u chant the word:" Harmony, harmony, harmony." What do you see? The scenes that flash through your mind will bring you under the law of harmony, which blesses and protects not only you , but everyone in your experience every day. Sprinkle two drops of orange blossom oil, and continue chanting. Fold the cloth over the herbs, and secure the fabric with a silver ribbon. Say this affirmation: All ideas that are needed for today are complete in mind And communicate themselves to meet each human need. There are not many minds-only one- And this one does the guiding and guarding. This is scientific fact, and you can go no higher. The next morning when you wake up, smile. Focus on an object or music if that is what you wake up to. Think about any positive aspects you will look forward to for the day. Rise from bed, light a candle, and meditate as you continue to wake up. Say to yourself "Good things will happen, because I am looking forward to the day!" Also add such statements as, "I look great today" or "I get to see my friends all day." Say these to yourself several times as the candle burns. As you shower and get dressed, continue to say them. Put out the candle, and remember the flame as it warms your day. Carry the pouch with you on your first day of school. And have a good one! |
