(( The camera pans into a close-up shot of a smiling Rod Siciliano, host of the wrestling news television show "ChairShots". The wind is racing through his hair and a grin is plastered on his face. The camera slowly pans out, revealing him standing infront of the Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with a large microphone resting on his chest. Slowly raising it he begins. ))
Rod Siciliano - Hello Ladies and Gentlmen, I would like to welcome you to the home of wrestling itself, Calgary! Now I am not just standing here to look pretty... no fans you see today we have a very special show planned out for all of you.. for the next 30 minutes we are going to talk about one of the finest young athletes to come out of Calgary in a while, going by the name of Dirk Dagger... In Dirk's short time wrestling for the EWA he has been somewhat a shooting star so to say. In 12 television appearances this man has won 10 matches aswell as capturing the Extreme Title.
(( Rod turns as the cameras switches to a different angle ))
Rod Siciliano - I am sure all of you know that in just a few short days Dirk is going to be stepping toe to toe with long time aquaintance and bitter rival Sid Luscious. Although not all of you know that this relationship is deeper then one thought. Sid and Dirk were rivals in the BadAss HardCore Wrestling Academy which would later shoot Dirk in the right direction, leaving a angry Sid behind. Now these two make there way to the EWA, ready to lay the bickering to rest.
(( The camera again shifts ))
Rod Siciliano - So lay back, crack open a brew, and enjoy.
(( Rod smiles as the scene fades to a Warning as the show begins with glowing yellow letters.... ))
February 4th... .:{ New Kid in Town }:.
(( A variety of clips are shown of Dirk making his first house show appearance, coming from the rafters on a steel cage., the clips continue as a tiny box appears in the upper right hand corner with Dirks face, he gives some comintary to the clip shown ))
Dirk Dagger - *laughing* What a Kiss Ass! Breaking into the EWA wasn't the easiest thing to do, everyone has to kiss a little ass along the way...
(( Again the screen goes black ))
February 12th... .:{ First Victory }:.
(( Clips again are shown, this time of Dirk Dagger and Ryan Maher going head to head, the box again appears ))
Dirk Dagger - That was one of the most exhilerating experiences of my life, being in front of all of those people and doing what I loved... picking up the victory at the same time!
(( Dagger is shown laying his finisher on Maher and picking up the 1..2..3 ))
Dirk Dagger - Sweet Sweet victory...
(( The show goes on to show Dirk winning match after match. Delivering Chaotic Concussions to each of his opponents, slamming there faces into the mat and pinning them. Finally it shows Dirk covering Arthryn and taking hold of the Extreme title, the picture freezes with Dirk holding the title over his head looking at the roaring sea of fans, blood trickling down his face. the scene slowly fades back to Rod Siciliano ))
Rod Siciliano - To think that was just 2 months ago, although Dirk would eventually have his winning streak snapped due to a lucky pin by Sakyo Kyuma, Dirk continued his winning ways which brings us to now... I personally had the chance to sit down with Mr. Dagger and discuss these as well as many other issues...
(( The camera fades into the pre-recorded interview ))
Rod Siciliano - Hello Ladies and Gentlmen I am sitting here with Extreme Wrestling Association wrestler Mr. Dirk Dagger. As many of you know his rise to stardom has been long awaited, Dirk started his training at the tender age of 12 under guidance from his father Rob Vanyperenburg, a legend for the Stampede Wrestling Federation, Dirk how hard was your father, a old-schooler who believed in the purity of wrestling, push you back in the day?
(( Dirk chuckles ))
Dirk Dagger - You wouldn't believe me if I told you... he was so hard on me he made Stu Hart look like a school girl... but it all turned out for the better... I mean hey.. Im here aint I!
(( Rod nods ))BR>
Rod Siciliano - That you are my friend... now everyone in Calgary knows about your run in the EWA, 10 wins and 1 loss is quite the accomplishment... but what is in store for Dirk Dagger? Surely the Chosen One has some plans for the near future!
Dirk Dagger - Your damn straight I do but unfortunetly for you.. if I told you I would have to kill you...
(( Rod laughs ))
Rod Siciliano - Fair enough....
(( Dirk takes a sip of water from a glass on a table beside him ))
Dirk Dagger - What I can tell you is I have a very important match coming up on Heat... Sid Luscious finaly has his opertunity at my EWA Extreme Championship and he is ready rairin to go... but unfortunetly from him I have a new fury to unleash on his punk ass...
(( Rod looks puzzled ))
Rod Siciliano - I'm not sure I follow????
(( Dirk laughs ))
Dirk Dagger - Two words... The Contusion...a variation of the screwdriver... I plan on Sid finding out first hand what damage the true wrath of the Dagger can do to a man... and with the Contusion I'm sure I can put him on his ass for the 1-2-3!

Rod Siciliano - I'm sure you can Dirk, but you never know what can happen on any given tuesday...
(( Dirk contemplates the saying ))
Dirk Dagger - You have a point... although the more prepared I am going into this match the better my odds of coming out on top... especially against a man whos idea of a quiet Saturday evening is singing seranades to his "Precious" which is non-other then a large glass tube... really who is he kidding... not to sound arrogant but I have this kids number... I mean Sid is noting more then a over-confident fucktoid and he is in way over his head....
(( Rod laughs ))
Rob Siciliano - I never knew we could say that on TV! But you know Dirk... maybe Sid just wants to prove to the world he can cut it... you can't blame the guy for trying!
( Dirk looks at Rod funny )
Dirk Dagger - Yes you can.... why try when you can't suceed? I mean sure... the kids got an itch for the Extreme title that he wants to scratch... but if he thinks he can just step into the ring and beat me mano eh mano then that marijuana has permanetly affected his brain... this guy has been losing to guys like Johnny Havok and Justin Sane while I have been out beating everyone thrown in my path...
(( Rod nods in agreement ))
Rod Siciliano - Any game plan going into a routine title defense like this?
(( Dirk shrugs ))
Dirk Dagger - All I gotta do is let him make hs own mistakes.... Sid can be a leathal opponent when he gives it his all but the experience this guy lacks is almost comical... I mean he can have his opponent on his heels... but then he will hit the top rope and miss a cross body... its that kind of arrogance that will have him fall Tuesday Night....
(( Rod smiles ))
Rod Siciliano - It's been nice talking to you Dirk, any last comments?

Dirk Dagger - Just a warning to Sid Luscious... Sid.. wherever you are... once you step into that squared circle with the Golden Boy there is no turning back... no hiding behind your egotistical father.. just me and you surrounded by a screaming sea of my fans... and I promise them like I do every week... I am going to put on a show... Sid you messed with me for the last time... now I finally get to cross paths with your pathetic self and I get to leave you laying on your back where you belong... come Heat your no longer a problem for me Sid, no longer will you be a thorn in my saddle do to the plain and simple fact I am going to show you a beating like non-other... So Sid I gotta ask you... Are You Ready? Are You Worthy of the Golden Boy? Cause if your not... there is going to be a full serving of whoop ass bestowed upon you.... Comprendes Focker?
(( Dirk laughs and stands up, shaking Rods hand as the scene fades back to Rod in the Saddledome parking lot ))
Rod Siciliano - Following that interview we took to the streets of Calgary looknig for a few loyal Dirkanators to express there opinion on Dirk and his up-comming match....
(( The camera cuts to a montage of clips of various fans staging there opinion for the camera ))
Old Man - Dirk Dagger? Don't care much for the guy... but god damn can that boy wrestle.... i'll give him props for that one... although I still say his pops was the better man.... now leave me alone... I have an appointment to get to....
Little Girl - Dirk Dagger! Like.. Oh My God... What a Heart Throb! What??? A Match?? Against Sid Luscious?? Who is that... I just buy the magazines with his pictures in them... I have over like 73 posters now!
Teenage Boy - Dirk Dagger is GOD! SID IS GOING DOWN! BOO YA! WHOS YOUR DADDY! DIRK IS YOUR DADDY! I CANT WAIT TO SEE HIM KICK SOME ASS! I HOPE SID HAS MEDICAL INSURANCE CAUSE AFTER DIRK IS DONE WITH HIM THE BILLS ARE GONNA BE PILLING UP!
Mysterious Mexican Man wearing Trench Coat - Dirk... Dirk... Dirk.... Oh SHit! Don't kill me man! I will get the money soon I swear!... Oh.... Dirk Dagger! He's alright... nothing special... a good champion to say the least but if you want my opinion... the truth is the only real wrestler out there! Now excuse me... I have to head back to the Mexican border now!
(( The scene fades as the man runs away from the camera, fading back to Rod Siciliano ))
Rod Siciliano - Whatever you may say about Dirk Dagger... whether you love him, hate him, or don't just give a shit... you must amit... this kid has skills and still being a rookie he is certainly headed in the correct path and who knows... maybe he isn't lying when he informs you EXACTLY who the choosen one is.... so I geuss the question really is are the people ready for Dirk Dagger? That will about wrap it up for this evening and I would like to say Good Night Ladies and Gentlmen and I hope you enjoyed the show... for Chairshots TV this is Rowdy Rod signing out...
(( Rod smiles, turning around and walking out of view as the scene fades to black and the credits begin to roll ))
