Today we found this mall our friends told us about just a little ways below where we live. It is very modern looking with just a little glass sticking above ground then everything else goes below ground. It reminded me more of home than any other place here.
We took a break from trying all the local food here to go into this place in the mall called "American Restaurant". We thought it was so funny we had to try it. When they think of America here its usually all Hollywood and actors and music. The food was like a TGIFridays or something like that and Tim said we were bringing in more business for them and they probably wanted to hire us to come back and just sit around and "American up the place". It was also weird to see people drinking beer at the mall, they serve beer and alcohol EVERYWHERE here. Also at the very bottom of the mall there is a place much like a Wal-Mart that was pretty fun. They had a fish market that seemed to be popular with everyone there but directly beside that was a place with entire pigs heads split down the middle and some pig legs hanging on the wall. I don't want to know how they cook and or eat those.
Tonight we met some girls living downstairs. One is from Serbia and about our age and the other is a little order and from Portugal, she is a teacher but she is here to learn Espanol. The girl from Serbia already speaks a lot of languages and said she wanted to come here to get far from her friends and force herself to speak Espanol. I don't speak spanish as good as tim so its a lot harder for me to communicate what I want to say. We went to be early tonight to get ready for our first day of school tommorow.
