CIRCULAR

 

Sir /Madam,                              

 

It has been observed that the service channel ( Meltron-RT33 and other types ) have not been properly maintained in many of the stations because of very minor problems.  At the same time it seen that a few station make use of the link available with them very effectively and are able to attend all defects. In  these stations the link is also used for feeding program in emergencies.

           

            Hence all the stations were the link is not used / defective are to set them right by the end of February 2007.   In case such links can restores to working condition it will be shifted to other needy stations.

 

All the stations are requested to send (by upload) a status report of the links available as in the proforma linked as below. The information may be sent on or before the forenoon of 15th January 2007.

As stated earlier all the defective links are to repaired by 28/2/2007 and a report sent to Zonal Office by 1st week of March by email.
