 विषय:  एफ़.  एस.  एस.  माप - 1 कि. मी.  पर  प्रतिवेदन  /  Sub : Report on 1 km FSS measurements  - reg

Ref : Quarterly reports  for the q.e. December 2007

With reference to the above cited reports from all AIR stations in SZ, it is noted, that the following stations are having 'Field Strength Measuring Instruments (AM / FM ) (Digital / Analog type)'. The list of AM / FM Meters available in the SZ is shown in the excel attachment.

                It is appreciated that the following stations have been maintaining the unit in good / satisfactory condition.

'1. Alleppey 2.Avadi 3.Bhadravathi 4.Brahmavar 5.Calicut 6.Coimbatore 7.Dharwad  8. Hyderabad  9.Kannur 10.Pondicherry 11.Trichur 12.Trichy 13.Tuticorin 14.Vijayawada 15. Visakhapatnam 16. Yelahanka  '  ( 17. CESZ, Chennai)

The Engineering heads of above stations are requested to carry out the Field Strength Survey measurement at 1 KM distance for their transmitter(s) in eight directions and send the report to Zonal office on or before 17^th March 2008 by email. ( In the report the Serial No. of the FSS Instrument  may be  included. )

Those stations who are not having FSS Instruments are requested to get the FSS Instruments from nearby stations and to carry out the measurements at 1 Km distance for their transmitter(s) in eight directions and send the report to zonal office on or before 31^st March 2008 by email. ( In the report the Serial No. of the FSS Instrument  may be  included. )

               NOTE : Kindly include the details viz 'Serial No.', 'Year of Purchase' and 'Period of measurement taken' of the FSS instruments in  future Quarterly Reports under Part II, Q (iv) section.
