SUB:- Servicing of S Band RN Terminal
Demodulators from Mumbai
Zonal office has sent a
circular requesting stations to send their defective demodulators of S Band RN
Terminal to the Regional Workshop of Chief Engineer (WZ) Mumbai, as the Director
( AVM ) had offered to extend free service in this regard
As per the knowledge of Zonal office, Pondicherry, Kothagudem and o/o CESZ had sent defective demodulators
and Pondicherry has confirmed about
excellent audio quality from these repaired demodulators. Zonal office also
received a few repaired demodulators and we have already issued a circular
offering these to needy stations.
Since Zonal office is not in a position to send to all needy stations , they are advised to seek the help of Regional workshop of CEWZ and get the defective demodulators repaired. In case spare IC s are required , CEWZ will help the stations either in procurement or for free supply to stations, if available in their stock.
While corresponding with CEWZ, a copy of the letter may be sent to CESZ
by E mail and the fact and progress of repair may be mentioned in all
periodical reports to zonal office
