Directorate and Zonal office have already advised stations to engage suitable persons as Apprentices under the relevant Act. During the technical inspection of stations it was seen that a few stations have not so far engaged any apprentices..
Hence all
engineering heads are hereby requested to take action on engaging apprentices
and ensure that they are in position in the station latest by
Stations are also advised to keep the required provision for fund and take up with finance wing of Directorate and DE(HQ) the actual allotment of money under this head of account.
Stations who have NOT engaged any apprentice in the past are also requested to seek the help of stations in the same state where apprentices are available, for following the proper method to be adopted.
A statement of trainees engaged as on 01/12/2006 may be sent to zonal office latest by 31-12-2006 direct to our server by filling up data in the form available by following the link below,
