MY nightmares

End of the World

Everything that has a beginning must have an end too. Sounds simple, but the complexities arose since we invented nuclear weapons, we became a contibuting factor to its probability either way. Nobody has any doubt that the present stockpile of nukes can destroy the world not once but many times, still some argue that a handful of them can be useful to save the world from a straying asteroid.

The end of cold war has somewhat reduced the fear of a nuclear war. But still the fear of nukes falling into wrong hands remains a global nightmare.

Future in black and white

Whenever we speak of a bright future we generally forget that in a bright future there will be dark shadows following us. We say that children are the future, but we conveniently forget about the millions of homeless children struggling just to survive.

There are children living in those war torn countries with the trauma of having lost everybody, in famine ridden countries waiting for half a piece of bread, in developing countries working hard to earn daily wages. These are the children who will probably grow up withought knowing how to smile.

No matter how many colors we use for painting our future we won't probably be able to hide these black and white patches.

Death of Nature

Nature's biggest gift is life, but what if nature itself becomes lifeless one day ?
