Who Am I

Let me introduce my self to you. I am Mohammad Iqbal.I am 100% pure Bangladeshi living in Canada from 1998.Right now I am working as Jr.Network Admin at IT department, University Of Windsor and almost done with my Honors program. I am trying to put my self in Masters program from next Fall ( September 2003 ).I came to Canada as an international student and after finishing my graduation in computer science(general)they have given me immigration here. So I have decided not to go back to Bangladesh and continue my life here. The sad thing is I like this country more than Bangladesh only because of "human rights". I don't need to say "Salam" or "Boss" to any minister or MP here. People are equal here. No body can put police in their pocket( it happens in some countries ).

I have done my SSC exam in 1993 with star marks(816) and have done very bad in my HSC( first division with one letter and 693 marks). My mom wanted me to get admitted in private university cause she thought I might get hurt if I go to Dhaka University( As we all know the condition of Dhaka and other university of Bangladesh).History says whatever someone's mother says, if her son listens to that, he is not going to lose anything. So I put my self in North South University in 1996 and after finishing one year I moved to Canada by transferring all my credit to a Canadian university. Guess what ? She was right, now I am a successful man. I think I have said too much about my self. Lets talk about my family a little. My father is an engineer in Water Development Board in Bangladesh. Right now he is Superintend engineer( he needs some more years to become chief engineer: oh I love that position, as soon as he will become a chief engineer, I will go back to bangladesh for some time to do some "aram-aesh".I have seen chief engineer's Government facilities from my child hood and I always wished, for my father to be a chief engineer.).He was 69 batch of Rajshahi BIT and has done his Ms at South Hampton University, UK. My mom is a housewife and as far as I know she has done her BA in Bangladesh.

I have one elder sister and a young brother. My sister is Australian citizen living with her husband who is chief engineer in Marin. My sister ( Sharmin Firoz Haq) has finished her Masters from Dhaka university in Management and now she is doing Bachelor in computer information system in Australia. They have one kid ( Sami my Vagna who born in 2000). My younger brother(Shakil Imran ) is doing his A level right now and he has done his O-level with very good result( only one "B" rest "A").He is a good cricket player too (like me (:-) ). My home district in Naogoan. It stands in the middle between Rajshahi and Bogura. If I become blind some day and some body takes me to Nagoan, I can recognize my birth city by the smell of its air.
