| The Graduation Poem |
| Today I leave all I know, And go to this new place, Full of strange new things and strange new ways, Not knowing the obstacles I face. I thought I had it all planned out, I'll do this then do that, But in reality I have no idea What its really like in fact. I used to be so excited Just to leave all this, Go and do something new, How could it not just be bliss? Oh! How I want to stay here with no fears, No unknowns, But yet I can't cause time moves on, And you must follow no matter the price. So, farewell to all I know, I'll miss you all so dearly, And though I'm fearful I know I'll eventually see my future clearly. |
