This was my 6th trip to Australia, and the second trip to Perth. My plan was to join tours there to visit Monkey Mia, and also Esperance. After thorough planning, I left for Perth on 29 Jan, splurged on stays in the 5 star luxurious Burswood Resort and Casino, joined a tour to Monkey Mia from 31 Jan to 2 Feb and then to Albany and Esperance from 3 Feb to 6 Feb.

Stroll in the Shopping Area in Perth (Left)

The Swan Bells (in Barracks Street). It houses the set of bells from the church in St Martin's in the Fields, England. (Right)

Along the streets of the oldest houses in Rottnest Island. These houses are holiday chalets. (Left)

The West End of Rottnest Island: a place of spectacular rugged scenery.

As we trudged back to the jetty to get back to Perth (Left)

Back to our 5-star luxury dwelling for the night before embarking to Monkey Mia the next day.

The famous shell beach in the Shark Bay National Park. (Left)

Sunset at Monkey Mia Resort.

The leaning trees in Greenough Flats - the results of the power of the strong winds in the area. (Left)

How can we miss the Pinnacles? I suppose it is an overrated attraction.
(Right)

On top of Frenchman's Peak in Esperance. What a dreadful 2 hours climb up a steep granite surface. (Left)

Esperance, an isolated town in W.A. but spectacular sights abound. Did not regret making the 1.5 days drive all the way to the southern part of W.A. (Right)
Lucky Bay, Esperance with its squeaky white sand. (Left)

Wave Rock, in Hyden on the way back to Perth. Really enjoyed ourselves in the 4 days 3 nights no-frills and climbing tour by Travelbug. (Right)
