| June 27 Update | ||||
| Hello again from Bermuda! It's been a while since I last updated my site, and plenty has happened in the last couple of months. For starters, my parents, Bob and Dona Worsley, and Alan and Linda Churchill all made a trip out to see me for a week in May. They first flew to New York for a whirlwind week in Manhattan, then hopped aboard a cruise ship and came to Bermuda! Between dodging mopeds, drinking 'Dark and Stormy's and partying it up on the cruise ship, they seemed to have a really good time. Shortly after they left, Steve, Evan and I finished our Scuba certification by making two 60ft dives down to two separate ship wrecks along the reefline. It was pretty amazing, and we took an underwater camera, so I should have some good pics when they come back from developing. Several of us from work joined a co-ed beach volleyball league, which started 2 weeks ago. Our team is, of course, the best, ok, well not really, but at least we have a really good time. I can't complain for leaving work at 5:15 each wednesday, driving 10 minutes on a scooter, and being on the beach playing volleyball now, can I? On the work front, I've taken a break from the audit action and have temporarily been assigned to an insurance company, where I'm in charge of several captives. It has been a really good experience so far, but will come to an end in early July, when our June 30 audits get under way. Well, I think that's about it, it's almost time to head out to the beach for the day. Cheers! |
