| He maintains the outside of the house and helps his wife Betsy with the heavy chores inside the house. He is a stocky man and not very tall. He likes to chew tobacco and is careful not to do it inside the house. He has red hair and green eyes. In their parlor, Cassandra Nodley and her nieces enjoy hearing the faint sounds of Charles' fiddle when he and his wife are in their quarters. |
