Activity 3 – ALL ON BOARD
This is one of the few activities that has made it into every Dinja Wahda edition so far. It's a simple idea, but one that is central in many institutions: the notice board.
But this is one board with a difference! No stuffy affair with months-old information on fading charts, but a board that's as alive as the nature it illustrates!

Action...
- Decide on the location of your board. It must be somewhere central in your school. Give it a green look - a border, a catchy title (Green Gossip! Nature News, Wild News etc), a background colour. Give the board an identity.
- Plan the kind of information you're going to put on the board. Here are some examples:
a nature news section
a "Wild Flowers this Month" section
a section for children's works and drawings
Klabb Huttaf section (take information from Il-Huttafa magazine)

fun facts of the did-you-know? type
- You can give the board an interactive touch for children to post notes in. These could be bits of news or strange facts. If you ask the children to put their name and class, they’ll be proud to see their name on the board with their snippet after you display it. And of course you¹ve saved yourself research time.
- Update the board regularly. A minimum of one complete board "rehaul" per term is required.
- Take photos of the board at different stages/terms and send them in with your Feedback Form
