Sampler

this is a digital 20 second voice recorder or memo recorder or sound recorder or whatever recorder. i swiped this one from rat shack instead of dishing out 8 or so bucks for it. the empty box is still on the shelf. if you really want to know how to make this, just visit carrionsound.com. all you really need to do to make this is get a 500 ohm pot and put it in the middle of the black battery wire. everything else just makes it easier to use while it's in a box or some other creative container. i put mine inside a sanrio box with a pony on it. since it's in a box, i had to add to momentary pushbuttons; one for record and one for playback. to make it easier to use with other instruments, i added 2 1/4" jacks; one for mono input and the other for stereo output. the speaker is still intact and still records and plays. the 500 ohm pot slows the sample down to crackly jibberish and then down to pops and flutters of sound

i recorded my theremin so you could hear it without effects and then i recorded it with the sampler and played with the pot to change the sound.
