GroovyTunesDrums
i had this for a while and i got it new for about 15 bucks. at first, i didn't think it could be bent at all since i didn't know about black blobs and their pitch resistors. well, now i added a photosensor and a trim pot and a switch to turn either one on or off. at first the ldr was covered it up by a half of a superball since it was really sensitive, but now it works ok. both variable resistors lower the pitch. i'll soon have to replace the trim pot with a better pot so i can turn it while im playing. for now it just creeps along and bangs, booms, and crackles. it also has a 1/4" out and a switch to turn the speaker off. i'm pretty sure i'll get tired of the stupid paint and do a real paint job. for now it just looks stupid. it does sound nice though. i've been using it a lot more but sadly, it will be partially replaced by a yamaha dd-5 that mike w is going to sell to me. thanks mike! i'll try to keep playing it as much as i can. i still can't find the sticks that came with it.
