Child's Play
This horror film centers around a demonic doll named Chucky that is possessed by the spirit of a killer who wasn't ready to die. Dinah's part in this film is over pretty quickly. She's the first person Chucky kills. Here's the basic setup�
It is Karen Barclay's son Andy's birthday and she has been searching for a certain doll he wants. Her co-worker Maggie (Dinah) alerts her that a man has one for sale in an alley out back. So the two of course go down and buy the doll. Karen ends up having to work late so Maggie agrees to babysit Andy, who is enjoying his new gift. When it gets late Maggie puts Andy (who decides to sleep with his new doll) to bed, being ever so careless in the way she packs Chucky to the bedroom. After Andy is asleep Maggie hears strange noises throughout the apartment and goes to investigate. She looks behind a plant stand and, when she finds nothing there, she decides it was all her imagination and she's just driving herself crazy. She then turns around and is hit in the face with a hammer by Chucky, causing her to stumble across the kitchen, crash through the window, and fall to her death. That's it for her in this one!
