I stayed for six days in Belluno with a couple that hosted the retreat the year before. There I met an artist with whom I shared my portfolio. While in Bologna I visited the church where the missionary couple serves and stayed at a youth hostel where I met travelers from all over the world. In Merlino, a small farm community I stayed in a small neighborhood where Brazilian immigrants live, including a missionary pastor. This small house church is fairly new but is growing.
